John Paul Gunn

Connector | Neuro-Spicy Ally | Chronic Overthinker (in Recovery) | Highly Sensitive

John Paul is an ADHD Certified Coach and Certified Clinical Services Provider with over a decade of hands-on experience teaching and coaching neurodivergent individuals. He spent more than 10 years at a neuroplasticity-based private school in Toronto, working with kids and adults with learning differences to build executive function skills, harness their strengths, and shake off shame—with humor and heart.

But for John Paul, this isn’t just work—it’s personal. As someone with lived ADHD experience (and life alongside a wonderfully neuro-spicy partner), he knows the ups, downs, and daily plot twists firsthand. He’s poured years into studying ADHD, executive function, and neurodivergence—not just to collect credentials, but to understand the wonderfully wired mind and help others thrive with theirs.

John Paul’s coaching style blends warmth, empathy, and real talk. His top executive function strengths—metacognition, time management, and flexibility—make him especially skilled at helping clients zoom out, reframe, and pivot without panic. He's all about meeting people where they are and creating space to unmask, unlearn shame, and embrace the unique power of their ADHD brains.

Whether he’s breaking down executive function strategies, sparking mid-session laughs, or dropping neuro-spicy wisdom, John Paul shows up with authenticity, curiosity, and care.

When he’s off the clock, you’ll likely find him down a YouTube rabbit hole, watching the Blue Jays, strumming his acoustic guitar, or struggling to choose which retro video game to fire up on his Amazon emulator.

Laura Bloom

Therapist | Neuro-Affirming Advocate | East Coast Empath

Laura is a Master of Social Work, an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider, and a late-diagnosed neuro-spicy human with a big heart and a talent for making people feel seen, supported, and safe.

Originally from the East Coast and now living in Toronto, Laura blends deep clinical expertise with lived experience. Her background includes over a decade of work in hospitals and community settings, where she supported individuals and families navigating trauma, mental health, and neurodivergence. These experiences shaped her deeply compassionate, non-judgmental approach—and gave her the wisdom to know that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Now in private practice, Laura brings an easygoing, grounded energy to sessions. She’s trained in CBT, anxiety management, mindfulness, neuroplasticity, and trauma-informed care. Whether she’s helping clients unmask, unpack shame, or build self-compassion, Laura meets them where they are—with curiosity, creativity, and real tools for real change.

As someone who’s lived the ups, downs, and delightful detours of ADHD herself, Laura knows what it’s like from the inside. She’s passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, embrace their neurodivergence, and rewrite the stories they’ve been told.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Laura grooving to music, wandering in nature, or soaking in the small, magical moments of city life.

*Please note that Laura is not accepting new clients for counseling services.
